Philip Woodfield is a hugely respected and sought-after English maker. He has developed his guitar-making skills and now offers guitars with special lattice work construction as well as the traditional fan-strutted instrument.

This guitar is a traditional model, although using carbon fibre, and featuring one of Philip’s newest improvements; sound ports.

It has lyrical, sweet trebles and well focussed, strong but not overpowering basses. The guitar is capable of great volume without sacrificing sound quality, and can be pushed hard without breaking up-a superb concert instrument!

The guitar has a a spruce top with black, hand-made buttons on the machine heads. We have been selling Philip’s guitars for the past ten years, and he has become one of our most reliable makers, who is much favoured by our clients.
